since we don't know what is our destiny, i say we can't. but if we can know, i say we can :D

if there is a purpose in life, you might be able to. But apart from natural selection and drift for reproduction, there are no known or common purposes.
So i guess you can escape your destiny just by not die by disease when you should die by that disease,... and the less fun part of escaping your destiny: no reproduction:p

you can't escape destiny because you don't know what your destiny is (if there is such thing like a predefined desitny^^). Destiniy by definition is a fixed course of actions.

I guess you could change it, if through some magical way you could see the future ;D

Destiny by and large precludes human free will. Free will is self evident therefore there is no such thing as destiny.

Lots of stuff in entertainment about 'changing your destiny'. While they say they change their destiny from a supposedly-fixed one, I feel your destiny is what will happen altogether - you 'changing your destiny' is all a part of your destiny.

everyday i go by feeling an obligation from people that are close to me, even feeling an obligation that i give myself. and everyday i escape those obligation feelings!

First of all, do you have a time machine? If so, travel to the future see what happens then return and try to change it. That will answer your question.
