I've barely sold more than 20 cards on the market because I don't like to confirm it every time per email. Since I don't have any expensive items that could get stolen I don't need this extra layer of security anyway. So is there a way do disable the confirmation part?

No, you can't. Valve decided that you can't choose not to use their awesome security features.

P.S. You could Google 'Steam Desktop Authenticator' or 'WinAuth' and set them to auto-confirm though.

Aha interesting, I guess that would be what most of the card farmers use. I don't really trust third party programs though. But thanks for the heads up.

Before the item is getting listed you get an "Community Market Listing Confirmation" email where you have to confirm that you want to sell it. Then once its sold you get that "You sold an item on the Community Market" email.

Oh I see, you don't have mobile authenticator activated?

No, but wouldn't I need to confirm every listing there too?

Yes.

Yes, but they do allow you to tick few items and "mass confirm" them all. Kinda buggy for more than 10 "ticks" at a time, but at least you don't have to open each mail to confirm every single item one after another.

Alright that seems to be a little more convenient.

those yeah, but you could get the steam app for phone and confirm sales there in batches instead of email links one by one, i meant that you could skip the emails about cards selling on market

Its sad that we cant really opt out of this security-stuff.. I personally use an Android VM via Genymotion. There you can put check-marks on a list of open trades and then click on "confirm", wich is a little less anoying than the email-method.
With email you also have a few days of waiting time until your trade is put on the market, right?

Oh man, 14 days is harsh.. :/ I was thinking of something along the lines of 3 days or so... didnĀ“t know it is this much.

Yeah now that I think about it this was probably the main reason I've stopped selling my cards.
