Freeze. If I don't move it can't see me. Right?
Leave the room. Hopefully it will find its way out soon. An hour should be enough.
Grab the vacuum cleaner. I'll get the little devil!
Start throwing books at it from the other side of the room. Who cares about collateral damage, that thing needs to die!
Quickly hide under the nearest blanket and stay there for the rest of the day

Where's the remove your shoe and smack it to death option. My shoe is the grand champion, killer of bugs, mostly spiders.
