Even though the 3D option is out of the bag for me. LOL
3D? More like can't see.
Twilight princess for the Wii was pretty nice though, other than that, there wasn't too much for the wii, except I think you could use points in the shop to buy the older LoZ. I'm not sure.
Never used wii points. lol

Even though Zelda is just behind the Mario games for me, Minish Cap is one of the best games I've ever played, its almost perfect, stuff to find, puzzles, fighting, more people should play it, none of my friends have or probably ever will! :)

A Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past is my go to game. Beat it 10 times and still is enjoyable today. Follow by Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow.

DOOM, Link to the Past, Super Mario World, even Donkey Kong Country I played a ton of.

Oldest classic I've played is Chrono Trigger. I suppose that would be it. Other than that good ole' gem, Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask are both favourites of mine. Still can't get into or get very far in Link to the Past and... Wind Waker is an issue since I can't actually play it.
EDIT: Secret of Mana is one I should play eventually, though.

Gabriel Knight 2: The Beast Within. Probably also The Cat Lady, but it's a bit too recent.

Punch Out was a nightmare, loved it at first, hate it a few weeks later. I remember trading it for Xevious later.
I wasn't much for the fighting game like DD and TMNT, I enjoyed them more in the arcades due to it having more buttons to mash :P
Besides Mega Man, I loved "Kid Icarus".

Well there is more of a back story linked to it, my father got me a computer a while later then all my friends as we kinda couldn't afford them when they came out. I remember coming home from school to see this massive HP computer in my room, we headed down to electronic store that same day and he let me pick one game, I went for HoMM2 (No regrets!)

Not really much of a "classic", per se, but mine is Dark Cloud 2, I think. I don't know, I just really like that game so much. It's so good. :3

So, as kids, or simply growing up, we all have that /one/ game we will always cherish in our hearts.
What game is that for you? Could even be a game you recently played that had stuck to you.
For me, it would definitely have to be either the Legend of Zelda series, or most games from rareware. (Mostly Conkers bad fur day and Banjo.)
