you only get messages about replies to your post. and your thread (OP) is also kind of a post. so you get messages when someone posts in your thread, replying to the OP. but if someone replies to someone else, you don't get notified, and i think it's good that it is like this. those posts simply are not meant for you. ;)

I never get notices for replies to other people's replies in my threads, I thought it was the same for everyone?

Imagine having a busy thread with lots of people replying to replies...you get 100s of messages about new replies, bbbrrrr.

You only get notified of direct replies. If it's not addressing you, you won't be alerted.

than someone else replied to that post (inside my discussion) and it didn't popup as a message...
it's very annoying. am i the only who gets this?
it can't be browser/computer related, cause its from the site.
