Bump! Thanks a lot for the awesome giveaways. :) And no, actually I'm pretty slow and I just recently discovered the puzzles section on SG. lol

This looks like a good moment to post a reminder, that this thread is in puzzles / events discussion section. As such, there are some somewhat hidden train compartments out there.
There are ways to find out how many.
For obvious reasons, you're looking for a 5-letter code.
And finally, they're not really hidden, so pay attention to finer details.
Good luck - 8h remaining

Interesting, I wonder how they get dominant color, is it just the mode of the hexcode thats used the most?

I'm not so certain that's the case.
If game miniature & user profile picture color deciding function are the same, then I've seen a user with 3rd most "dominant" colour being set as the chosen one. And it's the case even with your profile ^^
Perhaps there's even a bit of randomness or colour mixing to it.

Every cart has it's number represented in number of I's, with every 5 of them separate (if applies).
When you find hidden characters in some giveaways, you can either brute force their order to get into giveaway directly, or notice what I pointed out above, and put a character found in giveaway with I I (so 2) in 2nd place, and so on with every other character.

Paraphrasing a certain video game character:
Even on SG, there are some features that aren't actually known to be there. Anyone can see them of course, but nobody takes note of their existence. Or at least they aren't talked about anywhere I could see. Here comes this thread, I suppose.
Oh well, here's a train. Check it out,and try to find out if you know why I called it a blue train.
And if you exited the train, or are an impatient cookie, here's an explanation. It's really quite simple.
From what I see, Steamgifts extracts a dominant color from game's miniature, and makes a nickname of giveaway's creator take that color on giveaway page.
And I made a train where giveaways are meant to give me a blue colour. Simple as thatWith 30
Do you know of other "hidden" features on SG? Care to share?
Afterthoughts
With 300+ entries in some of the giveaways, and just over 200 poll answers, I come to a sad conclusion, that even in discussions, there is about a third of people who either don't read the thread, or are too busy pressing "enter giveaway" button to press a thread poll "vote" button.
Also, despite the thread bringing attention to "finer details", surprisingly few people found hidden train carts. Very disappointing, but oh well, it's the risk associated with puzzle making. Congrats to those who made it though. :)
I'll keep the topic open for some more time.
