Nobody buys this for the games, right? 🕹

[Tier 1] I thought buying the free to play Super Raft Boat would at least give me a +1, but since it's Profile Features Limited... why did I do this? 🤷
[BTA] My one-year career as a famed creator of computer games is about to start! 🌞
[Tier 3] Smartphone walled gardens are where the money is, and you know the saying – you need to spend money to make money! 💸
[Skip] I prefer to let other creatives do the creatin'. 😎
[Catato] I want to Become A Cat, did I come to the right place? 😽
[Anti-subscription] As a card carrying member of the Software Ownership League, I refuse to pay for one year offers. Plus, at my speed, making a game will take me at least five! 🧓🏻

I had Post Void on my wishlist, so it's Tier 1 for me, but it's weird that the other game is free... why?

EDIT: So the relevance of Super Raft Boat (the free on demand game) was that it was made in GameMaker Studio 2. Source code was just added to Tier 1.

How was it different?

It had the new, paid Yume Nikki game in a higher tier, so it was related and not some random free game. Also Tier 1 had 4 games, so it was more of an extra then, well, one of two.

Would like to get it 'cause of the GameMaker keys, but 1 year license f*cked up everything.

The moment they became subscription based, they lost a lot of customers.
Pity because it was very good for indie games.

I might get this one for the licenses, as I was interested in Gamemaker 2 for some time... but not as much in the price of it.

Does anyone know how is it with the two licenses? Do they stack up (= you get 2 years with the Tier 3) or does the inferior one just disappear?

Purchased, but when trying to reveal steam keys I get the message "Oops! Orders need to exceed a minimum price for Steam keys to be available. "
Never seen that before.

There is a 1$ / 1€ minimum price for content unlocks, are you sure you didn't miss a decimal or something? It's definitely a curious case.

I thought that too, but I clicked their own minimum "button". The minimum price on their button is still the same right now. There was no manual input by me.

Seems like you're not the only one who has this issue.

So I just did some experimentation with the manual price option...and it seems as if you need to add an extra penny on top of the $1 minimum for the warning to go away (if paying in USD). For other currencies it may be a couple cents higher, so just keep incrementing it until it no longer shows.

Anyhow, I successfully revealed 2 Steam keys by paying $1.01 USD using the manual option. Therefore, refrain from using their minimum button and instead enter it manually as described above...if only wanting to purchase Tier 1 :)

I just had the same issue, and I really don't feel like contacting support and wasting my time to save a dollar.
Did you manage to find another way to fix this issue?

Edi: nvm, I simply refunded the order. Turns out one of the 2 games was f2p.

What's the expiration date?
If I activate the creator for a year, and then install indie. Does that give me 2 years?

Have Post Void on wishlist,so I guess I'll simply ignore the F2P game next to it.

Um, I got "Oops! Orders need to exceed a minimum price for Steam keys to be available." even though I payed the default t1 amount...

Have you tried contacting their support to clear this up for you? As long as you paid T1 price, you should receive Steam keys, unless it's an error in their system. As far as I can see, there's no mention of keys being attributed only for purchases above a certain price.

Free games are already displayed in the library. It was done this way a long time ago (there are a few exceptions that are broken, but this is not one of them).

I did but it might take a few days before they reply.
I definitely payed the correct price, because I didn't change it from the default t1 price.
this is what it looked like for me: https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/854966557348069417/922818757687119932/unknown.png

Answer of the dev about the f2p game ( Super Raft Boat ) : " The game is free and will remain free forever, however buying the game through the bundle grants you a steam key which allows the game's achievements to count towards your overall steam achievement total (or so I've heard from those who have asked me for steam keys in the past) and will also unlock an additional Humble-exclusive download in a week or so from now ;) "

What the dev says in incorrect. As long as the game is limited, it will never count towards your achievements completion and will not give you a +1, regardless whether the activation was done via a Free on Demand package or a key.
The key will only allow you to see it in your library even if it's not installed.
This is the correct answer.

Looks like they added something to T1. The source code for Super Raft Boat. Can't say I'm too excited about it, but it is fitting for the bundle it's in.

I was all over this until I realized they'd moved to a subscription model. Unless you're a full-time game dev, being on the subscription treadmill simply doesn't pay out. I knew things would go sideways once Opera bought them.

It's too bad...this was the best 2D game dev package out there until they ruined it with the new licensing model.

As far as I'm concerned, I'll just lump Opera (who bought Yoyo) in with Epic and avoid them both entirely. Screw those guys.
