I have never used GameSessions before.
Here are some things I have noticed:

  • The download-speed was very slow
  • When executing the installer, another program wanted permission to run.
A few seconds later I got a pop-up from GameSessions that they have tested my computer and that my computer hardware does not match with the required specifications to run the game perfectly. If I remember right, they also recommended to try the demo, before "buying" the game, which is in my opinion really nice of them, since it already happened to me that I have bought a game just to realize that it does not run on my computer...
  • When running the game, GameSession noticed that I already have the steam version of the game and asked me if I want to export the save file.
  • When running the game, GameSessions gave me the option to buy a steam version of the game for about 2.50, if I remember right. This might be a good opportunity if you wanna add the game to your steam library, since it's not avaiable anymore for purchase in steam.

How to get the game:

The download is about 16 GB and you must download it and play for 5 minutes to keep the game.

Yep, that's true. There's a timer that counts down the 5 minutes when starting the game.

No steam key. But when you have installed the game, you can purchase a steam key for $2.50 after launching the game. I haven't done this, because I already own the game in steam, but it's not a bad deal in my opinion, since the game is no longer available for purchase on steam :)
