To clarify, just Ultimate History of Video Games: From Pong to Pokemon isn't available (was the most interesting to me).. Which is even worse as it means that someone chose NOT to sell this particular book to a specific audience, and it's not some bundle issue with certain areas of the world. So we have reached a time (haven't seen that before but probably happened) when audioBOOKS cannot be sold in certain places. I'm getting holy inquisition vibes.. Next up burn the books?!
PS. Can't say you didn't see it now!

I never use audiobooks, since I prefer classic ones, but it's probably time to listen to Fahrenheit 451 on YT, if you don't know it yet.

I think I have that particular book as a digital version, actually. I know it's not the same as a physical copy, but if you're interested, let me know and I'll see if I can dig it up.

Licensing for books (regardless of format) is much more complicated than what we're used to with games. A game (especially digitally) is typically published by the same company globally, though they may be handled by a local distributor in some regions, Cenega for Central Europe/Russia being a prime example. Physical copies will be handled in this manner more commonly as well as it'll typically be cheaper manufacturing locally.

Books are more likely to have a variety of different of publishers/distributors involved across different markets or versions of a work. Sometimes it just isn't feasible/possible to offer a product to certain regions.

In the end I don't see how this is different than the whole net-neutrality issue and they're making us feel like we're second rate customers. Either secure the products for everyone or offer alternatives. I can't be concerned and I really don't care about their problems with distribution. If they cannot make the same/similar offer then at least don't ask of me the same money, it's dishonest. More so in this particular situation since it's also for a 2nd tier product. And regardless whose fault it is, this whole thing falls on Humble Bundle and gives them bad rep.
PS. Do you have some inside/advanced information that this works like that? Because we are talking indeed about the same product as a game, a digital entity, that I find very odd to have different publishers since it's not a physical copy. I am curious about that..
