I would say +1, but it's one of those "hit or miss" games.
If you're just looking for some crazy fun, it's great. Let's face it, how many games let you p-ss on Osama, then pour gasoline over him to throw few matches? But if you're not going to do that, then you won't find it fun.

Wait, you're saying someone doesn't want to pee on Osama and set him on fire?

Gumboy Tournament? Really? But than again, I only really got to play Gumboy Adventures (not on steam) since, Tournament is dead from start. Some games on that list are mediocre and boring maybe, but not really terrible per say. At least in my humble opinion. :P

I ROFLED at the picture next to World Basketball Manager 2010...and after a while, got surprised that the abomination made by an immature developer who can't take criticism is not on the list

Hah, thought you were talking about Fez, add that indie garbage to the list.
Also Postal 2 is one of the most fun games I have ever played.
Honestly, I suggest Rogue Warrior. It's horrible, but it's funny-terrible, and that ending song is worth the price of admission.

I actually liked Fez and had always wanted to get a copy...of course, first time I heard of it was during a midweek (or weekend?) sale, and that was roughly around the time the developer suddenly ragequit the industry, will reserve my judgment on him - still, I cannot deny that his game was a serene, blissful, piece of joy to play

I thought it was the single most boring thing I have ever played.

The list has definitely a few bad, horrible and super boring games on. But as well some more or less simply mediocre ones and a few rather decent ones if you can get into them. Guess that's always the problem with lists, it's about personal taste...

Revelations 2012 is meant to be horrible.
The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct is consider bad, but I think its okay. Price is a pain unless you get someone from Aus or NZ to buy it, much cheaper here.
Shadow Harvest: Phantom Ops is a must have game for someone wanting horrible.

Montague's Mount has a bad meta score by critics and users alike (but it kind of depends on how much you value their scoring system). Hoarder can be unplayable and is a bad PC port, Dejobaan games can be hard or boring to play (but that is entirely subjective). Ride to Hell Retribution has been panned by quite a lot of people, same for Dino D-Day.

Pretty sure it's sarcasm, but I am inclined to agree anyway. :D

Darkspore, they'll install it on Steam, find it doesn't work, redeem it through Origin, find it only works some of the time, and even then, the actual game isn't worth the trouble. Happened to me when I bought it.

Actually, I am starting to think they stopped selling it for this reason...

Ride to Hell: Retribution.
This is the real deal, all others are child's play.

Too bad Fluttabyes is removed from Steam, it was a great choice.

Depending on how girly the giftee is, they may or may not entirely appreciate Mission Runway (I'm pretty sure this one truly is bad), Coconut Queen ("Your own private getaway is devoid of females, so find company among the brawny native gents who welcome you with succulent fruits."), or the latest addition to the color pink on Steam, the Barbie™ Dreamhouse Party™ (Metacritic user score is 6.0 right now, so who knows... hidden niche gem?! :P :D).
(Unfortunately, none of those seem to be on sale right now -- didn't catch the $5 bit of your post 'til after I'd written mine. Sorry.)

My friends and I are doing a twist on Secret Santa, where the object is to give the person a bad joke gift, and I'd like to get the person I drew a really terrible Steam game since everything's cheap right now. I'm looking for something around or less than five dollars. Preferably not the obvious bad games like Bad Rats (my friends and I have been bouncing that piece of crap around for a couple years) or "ART" like Dinner Date, since that sort of thing does nothing for him, good or bad.
