I looked at my phone about a half hour ago and saw like 6 notifications from Steam Guard with codes to log into Steam. Most were the same code (only 2 or 3 different ones overall). The only problem is I haven't logged in anywhere today. I didn't get an email about a suspect log in attempt or anything and all my inventories seem to be okay. I also haven't added any new strangers on Steam or connected my Steam with anything shady.

Is this most likely a glitch with the app or is it likely that someone tried to log into my account? I feel like if it were the latter Steam would email me. But if someone did try to log in and got to the Steam Guard step, then that probably means my password is at risk, right?

EDIT: Changed pw. Obviously the one person who said no is the person who tried to take my account. Thanks everyone!

Yeah, that means someone who isn't you is trying to access your account and Steamguard is doing its job and not letting them. The fact that it's the same code multiple times means that they tried to log in several times within a short period. I think that you should definitely change your password and hope that this person gives up on getting into your account.

Agreed. Already made the change. I don't get why, nothing in my inventory is THAT valuable.

Maybe they thought it wouldn't be protected then? I don't know either. It's good that password is changed now though.

Yeah. Weird but hey. If there's no harm there's no harm. Though I'll probably be obsessively making sure that there really is no harm for at least the next week xD
