Expired game in Origin?

So I just opened up my Origin account and I'm seeing "expired" next to Darkspore. What does it mean? I remember I bought this game with my money on Origin Store. I don't get it.

Ahh, didn't know that. Thanks for the info. I was afraid they were going to "expire" every game that hasn't been played for a while lol.

EA has done this with many games over the years.

By contrast, you can still play Half-Life & mods from 2 decades ago.....
