:) maybe in the horror works of Morrincone like the The Thing Score, but this band have a good BM Ambient sound, Minios is another good song.

I agree the song is marvelous. However Clint Mansell - Requiem for a dream can be on that top too

Oh yeah! I also loved his work on My Name is Nobody, most especially the Wild Bunch theme - the choir around the 1 minute mark is amazing.

According to Wikipedia and listening carefully in this soundtrack Morricone use some choral extracts from The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly apart from the renowned tune of Wagner's Ride of the Valkyries, and yes that "male" chorus is incredible.

Yeah, good catch.
The Ride of the Valkyries was very appropriate in the context and that little section played exactly when a close up of the Wild Bunch's horses was shown riding at full speed.

"Man with a Harmonica" is another of my favorites by Morricone, mostly because of the story that surrounds it in Once Upon a Time in the West.
Nice avatar, btw JDrakul. I have Vlad Tepes tattooed as the King of Spades on my arm.

While I prefer his more Avant-Garde compositions, it would be highly ignorant to not agree with you. Just look at the cultural impact alone that this body of work (speaking of his Spaghetti Western compositions) had created. Every Western after that either had him doing the work or somebody else tried to imitate his sound.
Slightly off topic: any Italians here want to educate me on whether or not the term "Spaghetti Western" is offensive. It sounds highly derogatory lol

Every time that I listen this song I feel something, I don't know what is but is so powerful, I love this song and only want to share it with the community...
The song "L'estasi dell'oro" was composed for the soundtrack of the Sergio Leone film "Il buono, il brutto, il cattivo" (The Good, the Bad and the Ugly) in the year 1966. Too many people knows this song for the Metallica's cover in the album S&M, but Metallica used this song like intro in many concert before this. (Thanks to wiki) Yo-yo Ma also has a recording in cello that is great.
But the original is simply perfect.... the link for youtube: L'estasi dell'oro
Added a little train ENDED
