Its not like Xmorph Defense which was boring. The games before GemCraft chasing shadows used to be Flash games on Armor games website. They were hard when i played it. The best part about the game is that there are lot of levels in a 88mb package.

I got an email about it, said literally "88% average review score". I'd like to know from where they get their numbers and reviews. The average review score from Steam (from figures in table above) is 76.5%. Only nine games have +80% and I'm struggling to find a third game and see if it's worth spending for those (I already have most of the worth ones...)

I calculated a weighted average and it was 89.18% average where 100% OJ with 94% of 9585 reviews holds more sway than 1943 Deadly Desert with 62% of 27 reviews and so on for all of them. I don't know if this is exactly how they calculated it. 9585 of 53135 reviews total compared to only 27 of the 53135 total review count would bring the average up.
In a way it makes sense to be fair, but you can still say they're finagling the numbers a bit.
I like strategy and for $1 although under 80%, Omerta was fun for a while, Distrust was interesting, bridges are always good - I'm a sucker for constructor physics genre games. For almost all of the games in this bundle you'd probably know games similar to them and can tell if you're willing to put a dollar into 4-5 hours of a genre you already know you like. If you already have the ones you like, I'd say pass on it.

Finagling the numbers way more than a bit. That average sounds really deceiving, since only 9 out of 24 games has even 80%, and one has even less than 50%. But well, we know that we should look at the games, not at the numbers. I was still very disappointed.
Ended getting Gemcraft, 911 and Crookz. I wanted the first a lot, just worth the bundle alone, and wanted to try 911 too. Crookz was the lil bonus, it does look nice enough. I'm satisfied with the choices and price in the end, but since I've been receiving the Fanatical newsletter, I learned to look closer to their "awesome unmissable gotta-get-it" bundles. Most are disappointing, but I've got a few.
