Do you believe in superstitions? I personally think that superstitions are BS. If they work, they work only because there are enough people believing in them. What do you think?

I was born on 13th of Saturday, ALMOST FRIDAY , :(
so, sometimes my birthday from year to year happens to be on Fridays 13th
even consider, that my mother cried when i was born with that number, i am really pretty happy about it :)
My favourite hockey player plays under number 13, and i generally just like number 13, all fine i guess.

Yes. Yes. Unequivocally yes!. All my life something bad happens to me. Be it a small injury to a major event, something bad ALWAYS happens to me, And yes, sometimes I get a little bit lucky in this day but then later on the scales balance themselves out to something bad.

So, yes. I've believed it it all my life. If I didn't just start my job a month ago and I didn't need the money, I'd call out today like I sometimes used to do.

Well if Friday the 13th was really unlucky, with over 7 billion people, we would have to be confronted to major global catastrophes, right?
Since we are not (today or any of the other Fridays it happened), it's either not unlucky or only for some people but not enough to even make a worldwide trend appear so I guess it's not. And considering the religious origins of that one, if it was unlucky even only for Christians, with a couple billions (supposed) Christians, I think we'd have felt the effect by now.

What's life if you don't believe in a little superstition here and there? I personally don't believe in any. But I kinda wish I did.

As with last time, I will probably try to watch a special horror TV show or movie and will likely end up falling asleep during ¯\(ツ)

I don't believe in Friday the 13th, but I believe in karma in small amounts, sort of like "you reap what you sow", which isn't really superstition, maybe a little?

I think it's all in the mind, as you said. That said, I am still slightly superstitious even though I know it's not based in reason. But then us humans are not entirely rational creatures.
