What is the meaning of your username / nickname?

Many years ago, in order to play with Age of Empires II, I chose the nickname "Lord Giacomo" (Giacomo is my real name). I thought it was suitable with the game.

Some years later, I decided to change my nickname in "Lord9600XT" in order to celebrate the graphic card which let me to play with Half-Life 2: http://techreport.com/review/5768/ati-radeon-9600-xt-graphics-card

Got mine from a songtext, kind of stuck in my head as i first started, so i used it mostly sice then.

Mine comes from the 16th step in the Scottish rite of Freemasonry.

It's from the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy and you should just read all the books. A Hoopy is defined as "a really together guy." and Frood is "a really amazingly together guy."

This is just the name I came up when I created a new character (priest) in dragon nest.
And it is almost never used by anybody, except it is already taken in Github.

And what do you know, my issue of that novel had a typo, hence the slighly difference username (I would only discover it years later). But I guess it makes it more unique now.

I play Schnapsen (card game) and Schnapser is one of the contracts you can bid before playing the hand.

Aurora + adorable = aurorable. It was a nickname for my dog when she was puppy (my father came up with the name). I liked it, so why not use it :P

I have no idea how my twisted mind came up with the name. As for the meaning, it just sounded good.

Gwar = my favorite metal band
Bane = Was the name of the God of death and destruction from some fantasy books I've read in the past.

So I called my self Gwar's Bane, or Gwar's God of Death and Destruction, So I just put it all together as Gwarsbane.

There were 3 runes in diablo 2 that created "delirium" runeword, and I liked how they sound together.

I have a Psychology and Engineering Degree (Engineering with Psyc electives enough to make it a minor). I figure the day when we have sentient androids I will be first in the field of Android Psychiatry.

Anyway, my username comes from an old Amiga game called "Hired Guns", where one of the characters was called Cim.

Literally nothing. Taigo is just a nickname I came up with a few years ago when I was signing up for a mobile game, and turns out I quite like it!

Apperently i thought wrong about my nick for a long time.
In fact, its an translation error, but i will keep it.
There are just too many places where i use this name.

It means something like "little-eater" or "not-much-eater"

I tried to register a name on another site and all variations of my name "jac" were already taken, predictably. I got so frustrated that I started cursing and jokingly added "verdammt" to my name, which means "damn" in German, kind of like "my name is jac GODDAMMIT". It stuck and I kinda like it. :P

I think about changing my nickname, now it's Rootwater - it's name of my favourite music band too. :)

CCL stands for Crazy Cat Lord, 666 (as in six hundred sixty-six and opposed to the nonsensical "six-six-six") is tied to many things important in my religious system (none of which having anything to do with evil or the devil as it is depicted by the Religions of the Book).

the vini stands for my name vinícius (people often call me vini everywhere)
the rockman stands for the japanese version of megaman (that marked my childhood) :P
