Region restrictions of Dishonored Definitive Edition from Fanatical and GMG

Im almost certain in that case that Fanatical is telling you BS

Now unless they have some special ROW version that cannot be activated in RHCP countries no matter what, it will work.

I know this for a fact because I myself ran into this issue when buying the game off of Steam and realising that it was one of those RU / gipped version before i got seriously fed up and decided to get the ROW edition from other places and it worked just fine! The ultimate irony when you need to go out of your way if you want the not fucked up version of Dishonored.

Did I mentioned that the RCPH version also doesnt have support for languages such as english or french? Because screw you, thats why /s

If this is the only option Bethesda leaves me and many others to get the game in an easy and legal fashion and not being artifically thrown into the russian country zone, then frankly they can go shove it where the sun doesnt shine.

They pulled off the same with Fallout New Vegas which I also re-bought ,because Im not putting up with being stuck with an inferior version of the game that also has modding issues over being a RU copy vs ROW.

Fanatical says that their ROW version can't be activated in RHCP countries.

This is probably just a misunderstanding on their part due to them being provided with both sets of keys. So they've just taken the regions the RHCP keys can be activated in and noted the ROW keys as not being available there. I bought my RHCP version from Fanatical and activated it in the UK with no issues. Th is is the package I received https://steamdb.info/sub/31293/
