I remember logging-in a random day to kill some time on my PC and came here to check somegive-aways and I saw a CS:S giveaway ending in less than 5 mins or something, with more than 1000 joins and said, hm why not? Joined it and switched the PC off. To my surprise, when I opened Steamgifts the next day I had won. I was like, lol-wut!?

Maybe it's not really lucky, but it was really weird! :P
