Did you like this event? Did you try to collect stickers by doing quests, then fuffiling the preset ones, and maybe even making your own? Or its a waste of time and you didnt want any of it?
I don't think it was a particularly great event but I definitely didn't hate it. Compared to last year though it was a bit of a sham. I was super excited to see what they had in store for us and it ended up not really even having any interaction with other steam users. Nonetheless, I'll never say no to more profile personalisation. Haven't started working on mine yet because there isn't really much that matches the theme of my profile, but I'll get something up soon.
By the way seeing as you mentioned it, how did you give prioritisation as to which sticker was on top? Or does it just depend on the order that you generated the sticker?

Nyeah, last year was...dont even remember.... we all were excited but ended dissapointing us, just stickers, just visuals, nothing else...more profile personalisation is good, the only good thing in this, yes. Havent started yet? Well you better do it soon, like today, tommorow its ending and all you have earned, will be lost. Cant wait to see what you come up with.
Which sticker is on top prioritisation? Okay if i understand right....you plop down one sticker, the next sticker you want to plop down, will cover, be on top the first one, i think thats how it works, only realized it in the end, but even if i realized it early, it still would have been too hard to replicate what i lost...its complicated, suppose the best solution is to put down stickers starting with top, then going down to bottom...

Nah, it's not lost. You keep the sticker showcases that you completed. Doesn't specify if you can still edit them but I would imagine that you can. Either way I'll probably get something up before it ends just to be on the safe side but it definitely says you keep what you earned fully completed.

Honestly, I found most of the stickers ugly and the "quests" were little more than "click those three free advertising links daily", but I still enjoyed making a custom page, even though it took me like 10 minutes. I wonder if those sticker pages will stay past the sale and if we'll still be able to edit them.

I didn't exactly enjoy collecting stickers with all the busywork Steam made us do and no interaction at all. I don't see any sense in them and I collected them for the badge.

It might be a really good feature to introduce newer steam members to it's features and I like that you can customize your profile with it. I think there might be some really epic or funny ways to place them.

Well the event was not my cup of tea but I like the fact that they at least tried to do something for this sale, they haven't been doing much for the previous ones.
I just want a fun event which doesn't revolve around checking my discovery queue and just crafting badges, but that's just me :)

Here's mine for all it's worth. I was kinda hoping we'd have a proper showcase on our profiles with all sticker pages and not just 1 of them. Also not being able to mirror them while editing was disappointing. But I guess that's asking a little too much from a limited time event browser-based image editor.

Not sure if it was answered before;
but do we get to keep the showcase on our profiles AFTER the sale/removal of stickers?
Will we have to customize them before the sale ends and showcase just the customized ones till forever?
The FAQ is really not helpful at all:
"Will my stickers expire?
Once the sale ends, all stickers and sticker packs will expire. Make sure to apply all of your stickers by July 5th @ 10am PST."

So, i spent the whole night customizing my sticker page and now you can see it if you go to my steam profile the ussual way. Thing is though, i had to re-do it and waste even more time because steam, being a piece of shit, didnt think of informing anyone that not only there is a 50 sticker limit cap, or there being no instructions on how to make or not make stickers cover or hide behind eachother, but the fact that the sticker cap is actualy 49....i didnt know that untill it was too late, it didnt save despite me clicking save and display over 10 times, it didnt, so i had to start all over and its not even the same as before...nontheless its not as bad and im happy, doing this made me feel like a kid again and i love how steam has made all these characters interact with eachother or be even present at all, i was suprised to see Bastion there. And then theres the good feeling of know which character is which and from which game, thankfully theres a credit page for the ones we didnt know of, i definetly would never in my life guessed what most of the animals are from...anyway, if you feel acomplishing after doing the same, why dont you share your sticker page here? Its why i made this discussion, hopefully it wont bother anyone. Share your toughts, view eachother ones, and tell your feelings on this years gimmick wethever you dabbled with this thing or not. Oh and you should do it, for the achievement, if you care about those :) tommorow is your last day if you havent done it yet and all the quests have pilled up for you to go trough in order to get them pages filled up.
