Just advertise, do GAs and people will naturally come :)
It takes time like most projects.

Create a few giveaways for the group. People will eventually come

Hi ItsSucter. Posting in the group recruitment section of the discussion boards is definitely the way to go, so far so good. One of the requirements to advertise here is that the one of the primary aspects of the group needs to be gifting here on SG through the group.

With a 1$ game barely nobody will join. Post some recent humble games, for example, and a many people will join. Find a cheap AAA game, and a far more people will join. With a CyberPunk 2077 giveaway, about 1000 will join at least

Post above says it all^^
Better quality or numbers and they will come from alone. Make them long enough.
Beside a page in Group Recruitment you can also use public giveaways (I advise against it, 95%++ won't read the description)
or the recent community train At least some will read the description there.
In the end most of the users will just come for the giveaways and don't care about the group👻
But that depends on your group as well ;)

But like you said in the example I think cyberpunk is a little bit pricy for now since it's a small group, and if it kinda is a chill hentai group wouldn't I try to go more into anime games or stuff like that, I mean sure giveaways about other games too.

I'm all for anime and hentai games :)
But the more pricy giveaways, the more people will join.
You could put a week-long the giveaways

out of curiosity, from older sg members, does hentai cv tend to hold up better long term than normie games (in avoiding the 15% value asterixis on past ga's)

You won’t lose CV if you give away a game, and then it’s bundled in the future, so any game’s CV will hold up.
It will only change if the store price changes, and shovelware games have price changes most often. Better games usually keep their price, but you never know.

So I decided to open a funny Hentai group with friends for fun, and I wanted to know how to get people in the group.
I know people do giveaways and cool stuff which I'll probably do but is there any way of getting members in it?
This is the group: https://steamcommunity.com/groups/HenThigh (Lol)
Thanks
