Okay, so I have an urge to play some games with some great boss fights, recently started playing bloodborne, so I'm in a challenging mood..haha. I'm thinking maybe a game like Shadow of the Colossus but feel free to suggest everything that you enjoyed..I'm just looking for some great boss fights!

I'm trying to find boss battles to where you feel challenged, and spike the controller in celebration when you beat them. lol
I'd prefer if all suggestions were PC games but I have most consoles, so feel free to suggest everything, and if they have co-op that's a bonus as well.

Hard Reset, Borderlands, Borderlands 2, Borderlands The Pre-Sequel,

also Ys Origins when you put that game on Hard, Very Hard or Extreme, it makes you play it just some 10-20 extra hours.

+1 for Ys

Borderlands 1 bosses suck. They are really stupid, and easy to beat in single player. Besides, the game is boring without any friends. But that gets fixed in Borderlands 2 and PS.

Not really, BL2 are bad too. Same issues follow all games in the series.

Well maybe you are right, now when you say it. Borderlands 1 bosses weren't that cool.

I don't know about Borderlands 1, but I'm not really a fan of BL2 bosses. In the main story I can remember a couple memorable encounters at most (which I obviously won't spoil). DLC and raids are not bad in that area, though.

Its been a while since I've played BL, but from what I remember, the bosses weren't really satisfying..come to think of it, I can't remember the last boss I've fought in an fps game that was satisfying. I'm trying to find boss battles to where you feel challenged, and spike the controller in celebration when you beat them. lol

There is one boss in the BL series which is good, the very last they made: EOS in the Claptastic DLC of Pre-Sequel. It adds a few actual mechanics on top of the usual "boss with billions of HP + infinite stream of minor enemies to second wind off of" formula.

Any Devil May Cry game, any Serious Sam game, Darksiders, Painkiller, bullet hell games such as Jamestown and Gundemonium...

Actually let's just put it like this: nearly ANY Hack-And-Slash, Old School FPS or Bullet Hell game. As a bonus those types of games are often quite challenging. :D

Other honorable mentions go to Metal Slug 3 (end of every level) and Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams (3 in total, 4 with the standalone, but they're all awesome like everything else about the game :P ).

Desktop Dungeons. Seriously. You can look at the boss and think there's no way to beat it, try anyway, nearly fail and in the end puzzle your way to victory, and it feels great.

Scarecrow from Arkham Asylum
Mr. Freeze from Arkham City

Between these two which would you say is better?

Hmm it all comes down what you like, Scarescrow is more like Psycho mantis (death to the 4.wall) and cutscenes are great.
I like Mr. Freeze better because you get to be creative and it gets harder and more fun.

Agreed, but I also think that, if he's willing, Arkham Asylum is a great game too. And since City improves the core game of Asylum, I recomend you keep the play order.

Ys Origin gets my vote too. Especially on the harder difficulties the bosses become more awesome too.
Warning Forever (freeware) should also count.
Batman: Arkham Origins - the Deathstroke, Firefly & Bane fights especially are good.

Didn't enjoy Firefly. Great animations, but little to do with the controller. Origins seamed like this mostly the entire game. Great animation, zero strategy needed, and a lot of "push the button in the right time". In the bosses subject, Arkham City is a lot better.
