How it works?

You choose a game from the list or sometimes throw a channel name in the discord.
I give you the key to this game.
You write a short review for my curator.
The game remains you can you proceed to the next!

IMPORTANT: the review should not be copied from other curators! It should be understandable and interesting! Content of 150-200 characters is no more!

I'm interested to see what kind of response you'll get here. I'd be willing but I'd rather someone that could benefit from receiving the games more be prioritized.

Hi, I'd be interested in this and have done reviews prior to this post.
Thanks for considering!

There's no way to give a decent detailed review in under 200 characters. For example, anyone can say "controls are unresponsive" about any game; doesn't mean it's true. Instead, say "there's a half-se

This is not a review. You can't review a game in 200 chars, even display all pros / cons.

Do you have a list of games you're looking for reviews for? And does it have to be 150-200 characters, or can it be longer?

How the hell can you "review" a game in the length of a Twitter message? It is not even enough characters to do a pros/cons list.

Ah, so this is not recruiting reviewers, it is recruiting stooges to make fake content for a "promotional" shtick where you can sell "positive rating" for moralless newbie fake developers.
The funny part is that Salz has a monopoly on this market, so it is downright funny when someone else tries to compete with him, especially after the OGN swallowed up its largest six-digit-membership competition as well.

But Steam curator gives only 200 characters! You can swear with them!

Curator messages are just meant to be the headlines of the actual review, not the review itself. Even a short review usually takes 5–700 characters (although some real reviewers with some decent following base regularly hit the 5000 character limit, which I also find excessive).

Look I've made my own reviews in my steam curator.

  1. Add a small review, an introduction
  2. Add a link to my www page where an entire review is posted
2a - or add a link to youtube review.

If you want to do all in this way - it's good! If people are interested, they can read your full review.

example: http://hakimodo.pl

= I just linking reviews to full-version of review. Do the same thing and nobody tell you, that something is wrong.

you can review the most (optimistic, more realistic would be "all") games you get with 5 chars:
"trash"
but as they get the games for reviews you have to write the typical positiv trash game review: "fantastic game, i like to enjoy" with playtime depending on the carddrops...

there is no need to spend more time into the review then the developer in programming^^

Is joining Alco_Gamers required or is it just useful? I would like to review a few games from the list. (^.^)

Very little if any useful information about a game can can conveyed in 200 characters. Thats less than 3 sentences in most cases and is part of the reason the store page is cluttered with uninformative votes.

^^ = 208 characters.

I agree completely, but before the new system, reviews, were just "recommendations" and some of them remained in their old format, too...
But writing a review with total 200 characters is far too less, even if just covering the basic feel of the game (mechanics etc.) if you don't want to reveal too much about the game.

Yeah, it's pretty much why I want to re-visit my earlier recommendations because they were specifically not written as reviews considering that was not the system at the time.

Personally I downvote reviews like that and, just like reviews that are mostly just a link to a youtube video, if I want to read a review I want to be able to read it right there right now without having to click a link to continue or the need to watch a video for it, but maybe that;s just me.
