Need help redeeming a game on steam

I bought a game off g2a.com as a gift and there is no add the game to my library button when i try to redeem the gift. There is only one accept game button, which is greyed out since I already own it. How can I add it to my library? Please help since I really want to play this game with my brother.

If you already own it, then you can't add it to your library.

who sent you the gift, a seller on g2a?

i suppose you will have to contact him and ask again for a new gift link so you can redeem it with another account.

CS:GO is vac-protected, so it can't be added in your inventory.

As the other guy said, maybe you should try to persuade the seller to give it directly to your brother, although he's not obliged to do that. :/

You cannot talk to the seller directly but through the g2a support and they can speak to the seller.....for problems like this it is a bit of a time wasting pain but usually it makes things less personal and more professional.

Doesn't he have a linked steam account? I mean, I've seen sellers having a linked steam account on G2A.

I can't tell you, I never bought from g2a. But there is no way to redeem it for you, so you definitely need help from the seller.
