My condolences on your loss, Mallorn. I don't care what some people think, I feel a pet is a member of the family and creates as much of a hole in the heart as the loss of any other member of the family.

I'm sorry for your loss. My wife and I moved into our house over a year ago and in July we also got a cat. Unimaginable to think he wouldn't be around even after such a short time with us.

As a whole community, we have lost some cats lately and it's quite depressing. I'm sorry for our kitty. But this is life, we come and go. At least we have memories of our loved ones, it's the thing that counts in my opinion. So, don't be sad because he is dead, be happy because you lived with him.
Also, you probably will be morose on your coming birthday but try to cheer up. It's your 40th birthday and you will never become that age again. And devote your happiness to your cat. Happy early birthday.

Hi everyone!
I've been kinda down last couple of days. My dear friend and buddy Sam passed away last saturday. Sam is one of the 2 cats we got when me and my wife moved into our new house 13 years ago. Sam liked to sit on my lap when I was gaming and browsing on my laptop. So in a way he was part of this community as well ;). Last saturday he suddenly had, what it seems like, a heartattack. Kinda out of the blue as there was nothing wrong with him. At least he didnt suffer..... Our kids are too young to really understand, but for me and my wife it was a really sad day. You get used to these little fellas, even if they are still just pets.
But some good news too. I'm still alive and my birthday is coming up. On March 15th I'll be reaching the respectable (cough) age of 39.
