Depends. If you want more of a "childish" game, get anything pre-Batman 2 (I'd recommend LEGO Harry Potter 1-4, possibly 5-7 as well).
However, if you want something that actually follows the story of the thing it is fairly well, get anything after (I'd personally recommend LEGO LOTR here, but that's just because I like LOTR).
Personally, I enjoy the "childish" games more, since they're just lighthearted fun you don't see in many other games.
Also, why is LEGO Star Wars never on sale...

So, I've been wanting to try a Lego game for quite some time now. They are currently -75% on Steam, could maybe some of you guys suggest which one should I pick. If I summarize, I have never played a Lego game before, but I love all their main topics(marvel, lotr, hp, dc), loved the movie and can't quite decide, which should I pick to try and see if it's for me.
