So, I've been wanting to try a Lego game for quite some time now. They are currently -75% on Steam, could maybe some of you guys suggest which one should I pick. If I summarize, I have never played a Lego game before, but I love all their main topics(marvel, lotr, hp, dc), loved the movie and can't quite decide, which should I pick to try and see if it's for me.
Thanks.

I'll recommend Lego Batman 2 myself.

Depends. If you want more of a "childish" game, get anything pre-Batman 2 (I'd recommend LEGO Harry Potter 1-4, possibly 5-7 as well).
However, if you want something that actually follows the story of the thing it is fairly well, get anything after (I'd personally recommend LEGO LOTR here, but that's just because I like LOTR).

Personally, I enjoy the "childish" games more, since they're just lighthearted fun you don't see in many other games.

Also, why is LEGO Star Wars never on sale...

The HPs are really nice but it all depends what are you fan of. I personally enjoy all LEGO games.

I've played only Lego Batman so far and I loved it. I'm planning on buying and beating all Lego games. I suggest you do the same :D

Hmmm... That's pretty hard

Lego Harry Potter games- Puzzles, puzzles and more puzzles (In Nintendo DS 1-4 it was)

Lego Superhero games- Funny, but sometimes they're just weird. They're good but sometimes get annoying.

Lego LotR- Like TheNamelessGuy said, it follows the story, it is funny, nice but it has some sort of serious note in it. I honestly recommend that one. I don't know if Lego- The Hobbit is same.

The Lego Movie- Videogame- EVERYTHING IS AWESOME! EVERYTHING IS COOL WHEN YOU'RE PART OF A TEAM!

Thanks everybody for your input. Now I'm really leaning towards LOTR and Marvel, gonna give it some more thought. You've been very helpful.
