So. Just a question for now. I have a big bunch (600+) leftover game keys saved over few years. I would like to create giveaways here but would you be willing to enter (win) and DELETE giveaway if key turned out to be not working? i am like 99% sure most (or all) keys are working but I can't be 100% sure. Just want to know if there would be any users willing to do this in this way since I just can't buy 600 games if keys turn out not to be working

Mandatory "No problem for me, particularly for bulk gibs like this and when asked up front." Bump

Even in the absolute worse case in regular run of the mill gas, I'm ok with deletion as long as there was a good faith attempt at getting an alternative copy depending on how available it is.

I've always considered this site as a kind of "I would like to gift something when I can" and not a "you have the obligation to deliver". So, it's a yes.. You have (another) one yesses!

Since we have no other way to check the validity of keys, I surely agree with you...so request sent!

What's the issue with having a couple of undelivered gifts instead of deleting the giveaways?

I'm totally cool with that, request sent :)

I tested something similar myself, albeit a smaller sample size than yours and I did public GAs with disclaimers, and around 3% turned out to be revoked by devs/publishers. So that was quite a bummer :/ Thankfully the community here is very understandable, and no one made an issue out of it :)

shrugs I generally think that disclaimer is pointless. I as a rule will let a GA creator delete a giveaway if they want to. I realize bad keys do happen and if they do they aren't always replaceable. especially in the case of having over 100 giveaways (although if you have over six hundred bad keys it would be kinda disappointing)

I don't have problem with letting people to delete the GA if the key is wrong :)

Once Indie gala provided me not working key... unfortunately the one I used for GA. Winner wasn’t interested in agreement so I had to ask support for new key about 8 times (each one until last didn’t work). That day (or rather week) I lost heart to creation giveaways- since most of my keys are from IG. Personally I don’t mind allowing creator to delete ga - I did it few times.
