And You, Did you ever bought a game on steam without any reduction ?
Same for me. Bought this when it was $20 in Early Access. Only game on PC I've ever bought for full price, and I think the second of only two games I've ever bought at full price in my life (the other being a day 1 release of a Nintendo Wii game). I don't regret paying full price for Factorio at all. It's a fantastic game. I've played through it several times.

not a game it is action! with ambition to be a caster. now main use is to capture online learning. :)

Only a few, and most of them were Early Access like Mount & Blade: Bannerlord, Temtem and (I think) Black Mesa. I also bought a couple ESO expansions full price if that counts too.

More than 10. Well I love to support some Indie studio as well as some hype game like Hades, Fall guys, Valheim, Tribes of midgard, Subnautica, Subnautica Below Zero, Griftland, Breathedge, Cube Escape series, and any other games.

I think only:
Life is Strange
Ori and the Blind Forest
Ori and the Will of the Wisps
Final Fantasy X/X2
Chrono Trigger at launch (refunded right away)
Cross Code
Vanquish
Bayonetta

Fallout 4 on release day, Resident Evil Remake also on release day.

The entire appeal for steam was that it was supposed to be cheaper because it was digital distribution.
Sadly all the nice things have gradually gone away... fun sales events, flash sales, coupons, complete your bundles (there are less than before), etc.
Now we have publishers listing the digital release as full price, equal to console. There is little benefit anymore outside of indies.

You like to live dangerously, my friend! ^_^ :D
All jokes aside, how do you like those games now? I soooo want to get New World, but will probably wait just a tiny bit longer xD

I sure do 🤣
Have not tried No Man's Sky in a long time. Should be a whole new experience by now.
New World is ok, not much more. It's missing Soul/Depth. The whole world map is copy/pasted and rushed. You won't miss much by waiting a bit. Soo.. wise choice :)

Even when I revisit a game that hasn't changed in a long time, I feel lost. I can only imagine what NMS looks like now! I tried it when it came out. xD

Ah, I see! Thank you very much for the input and the useful information! :) Much obliged!

I typically don't since I'm always working on my backlog and only buy stuff when It's 75%-ish off, but I do occasionally buy games the second they come out if I know i'm going to play it then and there. Okami for example, was my very first videogame and when it came out on Steam I was excited to replay it.

This. Yakuza 0, Kiwami and Kiwami 2 are the only 3 game i ever brought at full price.

I bought Blackwell Epiphany and Unavowed as soon as they came out. I think I even preordered Blackwell. But Wadget Eye Studio is the only game dev studio I totally believe, that they will deliver the quality every time.
Normally I'm waiting for sale, or at least for 1-2 patches to fix early problems. My husband on the other way is buying everything he wants immidiately, and he is buying me games as gifts, thats my current way to play new games...

In general, i always wait for a bundle / reduction before taking a game on steam (because my backlog is really huge), but the first game i take on steam was the only one without any reduction (Ballistic NG, at 6.59 euros / 7.99 $)
Have more than 200 hours on it, keep playing it today, so i never regret this first purchase.
And you, did you have bought some games in steam for full price, and if yes, what games did you take ?
