We made a little thing called civilization, which we use to cheat natural selection.
We have hospitals so people can do stupid things and (sometimes) survive. Our chances of survival skyrocketed as we don't need to go hunting for food nether we have to run to avoid being some animal's food.
So, natural selection still works. Just not for us, we are cheaters.

So, I was just looking at this other guy's thread about how unlucky he was to finally win a giveaway and then have it turn out that it's some scammer/guy who doesn't realize he's meant to actually give the game away and I thought to myself "damn, man, I must have entered more than 3000 giveaways, and the only thing I ever won was that damn Tropico game, which, frankly turned out to be a disappointment" So, lo and behold, I go to check my profile, to see exactly how many giveaways I -have- entered, and it says.. hah.. 35?! Seriously, has there been some sort of a server wipe or something? Not that I'm really expecting the number of giveaways where you failed to win something to improve future chances or anything (nor am I expecting freebies) but can anybody shed some light on why enterin what -surely- is well above 3000 giveaways my profile suddenly says only 35 entries? You know, like, what you get on a reeeeally slow week? Just confused is all, my giveaways at least seem to register properly, but not so the ones I entered :o
