Holy PC Requirements

Saw this game clicky

Saw the requirements and i LOL'd

I recall i played Doom in my windows 98. If im not mistaken i had 64 ram, a 333 Pentium 2 processor and a 5~10 gb HDD.

OS:Windows XP or Vista
Processor:1.8 GHz
Memory:512 MB RAM
Graphics:Direct X Compatible GPU
DirectX®:9.0
Hard Drive:100 MB HD space
Additional:If you can't run these games, then you might want to upgrade your toaster.

Probably steam is a resource hog huh?

Doom was pure DOS with 32bit-Extender worked fine on a 386sx with 16 mhz and 4 MB :-)

Those games are emulated. Emulation requires far more resources than running directly on hardware.

Also those requirements mean that it easily runs on 13-14 year old computers :P

What about this? It needs Quad-Core® or comparable 3 GHz processor and 4 GB RAM.

Graphics are done by GPU.

If it has complex simulations (eg. simulator used for training) then it's totally right.
These tend to have ugly graphics.
