I played them all except 4. If Sim City 4 is as good as the previous, it's damn worth 2,50. The fact that it's "pretty old" means that it's probably not too dummed down. If it's not that good, it's still just 2,50. I say go for it!;-)
Edit: Sim City 4 doesn't have a demo, but Sim City 3000 does. Download it and try it. There might be some mechanism and esthetic differences, but the "feel" should be pretty similar.

I'm curious about the Sim City games... I think I played an early one loooooong ago.
Any fans of Sim City 4 here that can recommend it to me while it's 75% off? It's a pretty old game now, but maybe that shouldn't matter.
I've enjoyed Civ V, so is Sim City basically Civ without the war?
