Steam big picture fail

it says on the info how to get into big screen
im using my 42" tv with steam and there is no button on top right to activated big screen mods

Yep, turned off skin and there it is.

Reminded how ugly the regular Steam skin is compared to PixelVision. Ugh.

I tried minimal before finding compact. There were a few little things I didn't like.

It took me 5-10 mins to get back from it to original Steam, just with edited bigger font.

If it's not there, right click Steam in your task bar, and choose Big Picture.

it is quite fail really, it got poor use of the screen real estate, A lot empty space on screen.

worked perfectly fine for me =D
the silly typing with the xbox controller will take a long time to get good at though...
sooo, thats why wireless keyboards kick ass!

i have this one and it’s amazing for htpc use. i don’t have steam installed on the htpc though and don’t expect it to be very good for gaming. great for typing and mousing around to play media though!

The button should be there by default o.o Maybe you haven't updated your Steam or something.

Happened with me yesterday, had the 2nd September 2012 build i don't know why!
Just delete every thing except "steam.exe" and "steamapps" and open steam.
