Region unavailable games bought outside steam

Fable 3 doesn't seem to available in my region. Was wondering if I could buy it from amazon and redeem it on steam. Will it work?

Wait and see if it goes Steamworks. If it does, you'll be able to play it regardless of region. If it doesn't, then don't bother buying it cause GFWL is closing anyway.

True. Disciples III is not available in Russia, but I've successfully activated keys from Gala Store Disciples Bundle.

Yep, it work, i have Dark souls, Fable 3, and some other wich are not available on my region but the keys worked just fine
