Just curious. I have an old laptop and I can run MGS V Ground Zeroes on it alright (everything is on low pretty much), and now I'm wondering if I would be able to run The Phantom Pain on it as well once I'm done with Ground Zeroes. I went to the Can You Run It website and it's telling me that I won't be able to run The Phantom Pain, but I can't imagine that the engine for it would be much more intense than that of Ground Zeroes.

Anyone know if the graphics are way better in The Phantom Pain or if I'd probably be able to run it with everything on low?

Here's a GA for your troubles

At work so I can't get the specs at the moment, but I figured they would be pretty much the same. Thanks for the info, I'll see if I can post specs later when I get home

Yep, that's the one I was using to see if I could run it. Said I could run ground zeroes but not the phantom pain which I thought was odd

I can tell you that MGSV is very well optimized game and it can be run way bellow minimum specs - I played it myself in 1080P (everything on low or almost low) - most of time +/-30FPS, ocassional drops to +/-20FPS, but game remain playable all the time. My specs I ran it on:
i5 650 3.2GHz (official minimum i5-4460 (3.40 GHz))
10GB RAM
HD 6850 1GB VRAM (official minimum NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 (2GB))
