DS will be ported as 1:1, hell, I can't recall any info if it won't work like those Resident Evil ports where there is no real keyboard-mouse support.

dark souls was good looking game and it is enough for me if there is no fps drops like it was on console versions

No it's going to be built up from the ground again just for PC -_-.

I'm concerned because the development team said that they're having troubles porting the game because, well, they have practically no experience making computer games (there's practically no demand for computer games in Japan). I really hope they eventually got the hang of it, I want to be optimistic but I'm fearing another terrible port with an infernal framerate.

I bet no one here actually played the game before they judged it , people starts looking at that one tiny little thing called GFWL and they just freak , silly people I say .

all we can do now to get the info is wait , let's see if its a bad port or not .

I doubt its going to be if FromSoftware keeps their intentions to NOT just release it on the PC , but updating it frequently , making everyone that are ok/happy with using another client happy in addition to the game itself .
