No trading, offers here!!!!
Hi, I'm collecting old-fashion gifts (those one could be put into inventory) and recently was looking for Nier:Automata gift. Yes, I know it's quite rare and overpriced, but still
hardly trying to find place (or maaaaybe person which is willing to trade).
Just looking any place if such exists where old fashion Nier:Automata gift could be bought (maybe some chinese local sites or forums).
I know dispenser.tf, gifts.tm, steam-trader.com as well as steamtrades, but I'm pretty sure here are persons which knows more sites where steam gifts could be bought
Appreciate any help. (If you have some private message write comment at mine profile).
Here is small giveaway for rest :)
Bump appreciated as well

Was bored and did a little search. It's $45-50 on grey market sites like G2A, Kinguin or Gamivo.

NieR came out only two months after Steam stopped allowing gifts in inventory, I don't think you'll be able to find one.

There were several copies I've already saw in inventories, so I'm pretty sure they exists.
Moreover sometimes gifts were dedicated to some events and were sold as a gifts after 2017 year (check my inventory for We Happy Few)

https://www.g2a.com/en/nier-automata-steam-gift-europe-i10000034883007 or https://www.g2a.com/search?query=nier%2Bautomata%2Bsteam%2Bgift

I cannot guarantee that this is legit but if you want to take a chance this is one possible option. As others have said, the yorha edition is probably suspect. This is G2A so be careful mate.

Why do you want this? What's the difference between what you're looking for and a normally bought steam gift?

I'm collecting steam gifts into inventory, that's all :) Normal buy will not allow you to keep gift in inventory

Checked out you inventory on Steam...
...
...
OMG!
Do you seriously have 824 Steam games as gifts?!?!?!
(not to mention several hundreds of cards and other items)
This must have cost you thousands of dollars (if not more)...
If you don't mind me asking:
Why do you collect them?
Is there a purpose? Is there a specific goal you've set up and trying to reach?

Also,
You should really be careful with your account (2-step authentication and such), as this can be gold mine to any hacker!
And even if you are careful, and have a 2-step authentication via a token on your phone, Someone can steal your phone, or even hack it and install some remote control software, and steal your account or all items on it.

Hi Mdk25!

I just like to collect them, there is no special goal like reach 1000 gifts. I just like an process of hunting for some really rare gifts :) There are some really amazing gems in people inventories. Usually I don't overpay for gifts, with some exclusions if they exists in just very limited copies. There are gifts like Wolfenstein 2009 which worth > 1000 - 1500$ on grey market, but usually I'm trading gifts for other goodies (TF2 keys, steam keys, CSGO items and so on). For this purpose I've written several scripts which are scanning known sites (steamtrades, plati.ru, gifts.tm) for some games I'm interested in. Unfortunately 85% of users inventories are private and Valve blocks to much requests for their APIs so scanning of inventories is very slowly process, but still provides some results :)

On other hand it's kind of investment, since gifts are overall rare nowadays and their price is increasing each year. Some games became removed, so their value increase drastically (like Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition MK9 last month).

Regarding security, well my job more or less is connected with IT security, so I'm aware about risks, but thanks for caring this topic.

It's close to impossible to hack non-rooted phone remotely and I'm used special version of Blackberry, which decreases chances even more. If I'll become an victim of thief, he still couldn't do nothing, since bypass two-level phone security is really non-trivial task, and it could be wiped remotely. I can believe there are still thief masters able to do such things, but person like me isn't their point of interest, since I'm not executive chief of some billion company :)

Valve is participating in white hackers bounty program named HackerOne therefore all major exploits for Steam and its client are sold directly to Valve for great remuneration.
