Any of you currently (or was) running a VPS?
Care to share your provider and experience?

I'm considering moving from traditional web hosting to a VPS solution since it's give better flexibility on managing services I'm actually need.

Thanks!

I used ovh and 1&1 vps and ovh are far better.
But lately I tend to use flexible instances, amazon EC2 or Digitalocean

Wow OVH give you 2GB for $3.5? This is perhaps the cheapest I found so far, thanks!

I used DigitalOcean once for a school project, got perfect results.
And with the hourly service to try it out for a bit you can't go wrong with it

+1 for DO.

I'm happy with everything: prices, tech support, community tutorials, etc.
You can get $10 for testing [search web for coupons].
Or just register via referral link, same $10 + some for person if you will spend some $ on DO.

Well, I also have 1&1 VPS that costs me a student price here in germany for 3€/year. It's quite stable and runs good with 20 players CS:GO server and teamspeak on it.

If you're fine with a eastern european one, you can get these for cheap:
www.time4vps.eu

I got one of their small, cheap ones for a BNC and a 1 Tb storage-VPS.

Most of these are 50% off if you buy bianually, so my 1 Tb storage-vps is only 2€ a month :)
