It's tough, some games are expensive. You can always torrent them while you're unable to buy them though (that's what I do but don't tell anyone Shhh..)

The cheapest I've seen the game so far was about $50 but it was like a 1 day thing.

Anywhere that has it on sale right now (GMG or GameTap are the 2 I've found so far) just has it for roughly 10% off. Your best bet is to wait until closer to Christmas for the actual sales to start. I know that the GameTap sale lasts until after Christmas, so you can wait to see any better sales until then.

i decided to hold off on skyrim. it's tough to do with all the hype, but there are already too many great games to play. I will buy it when it's re-released.

It's still new and the hype is huge. Bethesda will definitely want to milk as much as they can.
