Summer's and Shaggydog's dead was really shocking to me.
I always thought that the direwolfs and the Stark children are somehow connected. I was excpecting Sansa to die after they killed Lady in the first book, but she is still fine except that she got the Ramsy and Joffrey treatment The only surviving direwolf is now Ghost (there is no info about the wolf that belongs to "noone" :D)

Death of Summer was really stupid he just jump into group of wights but there is still Nymeria somewhere. There is a chance that she would have been young puppies. :)

I think she might have some role in the upcomming war in the north. And she will probably die there since Arya Stark does not exist anymore.

I heard that Arya will be trying to escape from house of white and black because she do not agree to likk someone. About Nymeria i heard that she is in wolf pack but in TV show they still didnt show this.
