I won 3! Kind of amazed, but the train was epicly long this year. (Thank you everyone who contributed and helped organize.) Often I don't win on a big train, but win something before or after, so it was particularly nice to see spacecat sparkling at me.
Pathfinder, from Mora -- I loved these style of games back in the day of talking skulls and icy winds, and hear good things about these. Anyone know of the story from the earlier one carries into this one? Or are they largely standalone? I've been feeling a bit more wakeful, so now I just need a bit more time/less stress so I can peek into a long game. With holidays coming up, I try to tackle some larger games.
Princess Farmer, from missingtexture -- I love match 3 and farming games, and this looks like a lark for some silly gaming!
Mr. Shifty, from Mayanaise - Never got to play Hotline Miami, and this is supposed to be similar. We like twin stick shooters in this house, so I'm sure this will get some play. The dash looks fun.
I loved the discussion and stories along the train, and the drama of the long adds and the new people adding to their first train, plus the important small giveaways keeping up momentum. I got some lovely advice on new games to watch for. Thanks to everyone again!

How often are these trains being hosted? This was the first time I saw one, but couldn't participate since my contributor level was low (working on that!). Also, how long does it usually take for games to register to my contributor level? Only the first one was counted so far, the second one wasn't even though my winner received it.

We usually have two community trains every year. This one in september and another one in december hosted by wigglenose. There were a good amount of giveaways for level 0 and level 1 in the train as well.
They count for your contributor level immediately after the winner marked them as received. Both of your giveaways already counted for it. You may wanna read in the FAQ about contributor value and levels. You got 7,5 CV for your first two giveaway. You need 25 CV to reach level 2. If you hover the value behind the number of gifts sent, you can see your CV

Thank you for replying! I read the FAQ before hosting the giveaways, but I'm a bit confused about my situation. I thought level 2 starts from $25. I gave away 2 games worth $25 each (however with the reduced value of -15% they would be $21.25 each so $42.50 total). I also checked my contributor level after my first winner marked their gift as received, it was 1.30 and it didn't change at all since then.

CV for Reduced titles isn't 15% less than 100%, it's 15% of the entire MSRP. So a $25 game flagged as "Reduced" gives a real CV value of $3.75. Multiply that by 2 and you get a your current CV of 7.5.

Ohh right, sorry, I totally missed that! Thank you so much to the both of you!

Thanks and like the others say I host a train going from 1st to 31 December and anything will be allowed to see my train from last year I will leave a link - https://www.steamgifts.com/discussion/ulwJV/xmas-community-train-2024-4th-annual-edition-tribute-train-started
I would love you to drop by and there are many carts that your level would be able to enter - all the carts I make for both are always level 0

I won RoboCop: Rogue City. Before that, my last giveaway win was six months ago. Since I currently don’t have the ability to give games, I’ve stopped entering every giveaway and now only enter ones for games I will actually play. Thanks RGVS for this awesome gift.

I didn't expect to really win anything but I got 2 items. Sadly none of the ones I entered like 50 repeating cars of but I am happy all the same.
One of them was a game I never heard of before but looked interesting: Koeti. It looks really fun although my luck with poker-type games is really bad so fingers crossed! The other was Gotham Knights; I'm hoping it will run on my potato of a computer now that I know how to trick games into running when they don't want to (manually setting which graphics card it uses).

Pheew nearly finished my post train work with rerolls and deletions!
So I won a real nice game from Canis39 The Abandoned Planet. Many thanks again, Canis !

I won Picklock (wagon 3650) from missingtexture, and I thanked them in the comment, but thanks again and thanks to everyone who contributed. IDK what I'm doing here, I'm antisocial. Additional fun fact: I got temporarily banned for clicking “next” too fast when I was browsing games, because (I assume) ESGST was doing its thing in the background adding extra requests to every click, lol, that humbled me quickly… So, I guess, disable your browser add-ons when going through trains and pause on each, touch the grass, smell the flowers.
Also, I already tried Picklock. Can't recommend the gameplay, but it's very nice visuals and style. Might finish it on mobile.

Didn't win anything, but my odds were at 12.60% so it's not exactly surprising to not get a visit from space cat. :D

I won Age of Empires: Definitive Edition. Hooray! Thanks to EliasKir for great contribution to the train!

The chances of my winning, statistically, were much higher than what I actually won (based upon number of entries and probability, I should have won ~3). But I did actually win one game, and it was...
And it was...

Lol, fair point. Also, I suppose this does reinforce the Universe's opinion that I should host another Halloween event. And so it shall be. 😜😁🤓

What a ride and a new record thanks - I hope you all have something left for the Christmas train of course - but that got me thinking I was wondering if/who won anything from the train - https://www.steamgifts.com/discussion/ps43Y/community-train-xi-online-blessing-of-the-space-cat/search?page=24#aYUibyO
Did you win - then well done and good fun ahead

It be nice to say what you won and thank everyone who contributed carts
