These keys are usually for review/promo purposes. Not to be revoked.

They must have gotten another batch of keys after the game release so you have gotten one of those!

You're probably right as i did request for a new key a while back so they were most likely received from steam before the full game was released. Also the developers have given the keys away themselves so hopefully are not likely to revoke them but having had keys revoked in the past, you are always a bit wary when it says for beta testing.

Any revoked keys would be unrelated to the Beta Testing tag at least, we should be safe. I have them going back years without issue.

Yes, both game has different app id. You should be able to get a free key of the new game you have the old game and filled the form, but the form has been closed sometime ago.

Dang it! and I'm now finding this out, now that it's too late I mean :P
I even HAVE the original game in my steam libray and the new one seems right at my alley! just my luck

Hi everyone,
The solution proposed by emtlit is a good one, but sadly we have parted ways with the publisher and we cannot longer access to these packages. So we had to come up with the form.
As some of you pointed rightly, the form was closed due to running out of free space. We just fixed this and now you should be able to register your answers properly. Regarding the Steam user, sending the profile url would be enough.
We will let the form open until the release of the game, so anybody who had the previous game can have enough time to get the new version.
We expect to have the keys ready around the release week

Good news! We are sending this email to confirm that your answers were properly registered in our form and you will receive your key for Deiland: Pocket Planet in your email account.
We are still working in the publishing process before release, but once we have the keys ready we will let you know and send them right away.
