Hi, is there a method, to prevent yourself
against scammers? For example if I trade a TF2 Key for a CD Key.
If I give first and he ll delete me, thats the worst case. So, is there
any possibility to prevent yourself of being scammed?

Trade with people who have a high rep on Steamtrades, would be the recommended way.

Don't do it that way. Do it the other way.

"prevent yourself of being scammed"

Don't trade

If you're new to trading, you should stick to trading stuff that both parties can put into the Steam trading window.

Yeah, I tend to stick to inventory when possible myself. Safest way, though there can still be problems.

^ basically this.

It isn't worth it, you risk losing a lot of money just to save a few $.

(P.S. hey, you owe me a game :D)

Yeah, I know, you've won in the third re-roll, congratulations :P

I added you, but I can't trade today, you'll have to wait a little longer, sorry.

Trading with someone who has a decent amount of rep is usually a lot safer. Have a look at Steamrep too and use your judgment.

If a deal sounds fishy to you, and the other party will not go first, it's perfecly ok to back out of it.

Though at the same time the other party may expect you to go first if you have a lower reputation count.

True, but if none of the parties feel safe about going first, it's better to call off the deal and look for someone you feel you can trust.

If it's too good to be true, it's not true. If it smells fishy, stay away.

Middle man and high rep, that's probably sums it up

Just bought CD KEY today, I used high repped middle man who I know, went smoother than baby oil.

People may say to you to not trade with CD-keys, but they're cheap as fuck. Try to avoid that, but when you can't... just be careful.
