When your whole life consists of swimming 24/7 i guess grabbing a bite of human flesh now and then seems like a productive way to break out of your routine

They only attack people because they mistake humans for seals. (they'll also attack out of self defence but don't normally attack humans unprovoked afaik)

They attack humans so they can be challenged. They have to prove themselves to mysterious overlords of the deep sea by sacrificing themselves in eating our unflavorful meat. They don't want attention! Have you ever seen an interview with a shark? NO! THEY FLEE!

Never thought of it like that, but it could well be that shark attacks on humans are something of a shark's cry for help, maybe a mid-life crisis kind of thing.

It's actually not the sharks doing it, it's the other sea creatures working together to discredit their predators to the current dominant predator, the humans, in the hopes we'll start exterminating the threat.

You know when they say some fish like to stick to sharks to eat the parasites on them? That's actually a cover; they're helping the fish inside the shark steer by guiding their course.
And when such a shark eats it's actually a recruitment run, the fishing who want to apply for the anti-shark corps get inside to get an interview.

...and here I was thinking it was a form of protest against the Chinese for shark fin soup, sort of like their version of a non-pacifist Civil Rights movement - "You eat me - I eat you!"

And yet everyone loves dinosaurs and anyone insane enough to invent time travel would also probably want to see dinosaurs in person.

Seeing so many sharks on TV is not the will of the sharks, but rather the cunning sharkophobic media that portray these poor creatures in a negative light. Think about it, when the media is covering a shark-attack by a single shark, are they quick to point out how many other sharks were completely peaceful at the time... NO!

There is no reason to justify mentioning the creatures species when such an incident happens. Unless! Unless of course when your plan is to create and maintain a prejudice of sharks as man-eaters. I blame the dolphins, they run the media. Open your eyes people, and think.

I'm sure most of you have seen the YT video of a cute little girl that was feeding the dolphins, and then one of the dolphins bit her - who did the media blame? The parents and her daughter! Accidental contradiction? Don't be a sheeple, the dolphins are out to get us.

The sharks are just a testing phase. Let's all stand united, with our fellow sharks, and defeat our dolphin overlords. Shark power!
