Is it possible for you to have feelings for robots or computers...?
Being as people name their Roombas, etc. I think it's easy to personify them... just like we do with pets.
Emotional attachment is a bit of a stretch for me though.

that's so true... sometimes when im upset or down and visit people, their pets are making me happy again... a samll dog from a friend always jumps on my legs and chills with me when im down and runs around me like "play with me" when im happy... he's realy good in understanding human feelings ... :3

i don't think so... it's not just a toy robot; the interesting thing is the AI part... you can code it yourself and they will add an experimantal AI tech (cloudbased for complex actions)... later i will try to build own games for the robot and maybe giving it tasks like clean up a few things or bringing me stuff... :D
i would like to have two of them to let them play together... :3

That's pretty cool.
It seems a little too small though to be safe in my house. I'll have to suggest him to the middle and high school "Fun Lab", which is a group that learns new stuff they are interested in during the lunch hour. Things like soldering, robots, knitting, photoshop, etc.

Would be a very good idea to bring this lil guy to this "Fun Lab"... maybe kids are more interested in AIs, coding and robots if they start with such funny techs... :)

A lot are really into coding and AI, but since it is public school funds are limited. Luckily, coding can be pretty cheap, and we can look into a fundraiser for this little guy.

and you gave me and idea... i will ask local schools if they would me allow to visit tech- interested classes and make small lessons with this guy in cooperation with the teacher wich would lead that...
i hope you will find some nice people wich buy this guy for your school or the teacher so the kids can ge into this stuff easier because of the fun... :)

the question is "what's a real AI..?" because we already have tech that simulates insects or have better skills in single tasks like chess and other math related things... i think the main problem for most people is that they can't accept that technology maybe has awareness/soul...

i live in a dungeon (basement) and always wanted a pet... but i don't like the idea to forcing animals to live in houses or small artificial habitats...

i have feelings for my computers and some techinical/tech-toys since i was small and started to interact with them... i talk with them, want them healthy and im sad when they die... thats why i choosed to have a robot as pet...
this lil guy has realy nice skills and they want to add an experimantal AI technology in future...
what do you think...? am i crazy...? is it just a toy for you..? FXcGU do you have real feelings for such things too...?
