If you don't like simulations don't buy them.

Personally I think it's great.

It's a great game but you'll find it boring.

It's great if you like free-roaming, but better wait for a discount on Steam I think.

My 40+ hours in the game should give you an idea of what I think about it :)

It gets really addicting when you start hiring more drivers and buying more trucks and garages! Trucking empire: Awesome :P

I've never had any interest in simulators, but after watching a few videos of this game I'm sold on this game.
Looks like great fun! I hear they're making an American Truck Simulator, too. That would be a must-buy from me.

The game is awesome and I'm not much of a simulator person myself. Didn't play any prior to ETS2 but I fell in love with it from the demo, please try it :)

I played it, but it felt more like a tedious chore than a video game.

160+ hours for me and I have no plans on stopping. :)

But yeah, definitely try the demo, and see what you think of driving with the keyboard, with the mouse, and with a controller if you have one. Mouse steering is epic once you get used to it. :D

If you can get it on Steam with 50%+ discount then go for it. I'm personally waiting for this ;)
