I liked Ziggurat a lot as well, though I remember having a bit of an issue with the difficulty settings. Normal was way too hard, but easy was way too easy :D

its like the binding of Issac, some runs can be ez and some can be hard depending on what weapons you get. and the more you play the more weapons and ability's you unlock as well. i gotta pick that game up again sometime.

True, roguelikes are like this. Sometimes you breeze through and other times, you get killed in the second level because you just didn't get anything useful.
