30,005 to be exact, games and DLCs that I have hidden on Steamgifts.
I hide a lot of giveaways because I really only enter for games I'm going to play and probably enjoy.
I'm really not interested in a lot of genres on Steam, and I find myself hiding more and more games.
Hidden object? No thanks. Visual novel? Nah. Hentai tentacle milf puzzle? No for the 100th time, seriously stop already.
Anyway, as I said last time, people like me hiding games is a good thing for some of you that want to add to your ever-growing collection. It's good that Steamgifts gives everyone the choice to pick and choose what they like, and whether you're just entering giveaways for +1 to your library, or you've had it wishlisted for months, or you just can't resist another open-world early access survival crafting game... go for it. Enjoy the games, enjoy entering and giving away something, because there's always someone who will appreciate winning. The giveaways keep on flowing thanks to tens of thousands of awesome Steamgifts members.
For newcomers, or those who forgot, you can find how many games you have hidden here:
And you can change your filter settings here:
2016: I had hidden over 9000! games, which was cause for my first celebration of this kind.
2019: I hit 20,000 and figured it was a good reason for another celebratory giveaway discussion thread.
2022: Yay, 30,000 fewer games clogging up my front page!
2025: Can I make it to 40,000? Probably, considering how many games are released each month.
So I guess you were hoping there might be some AAA giveaways in here? Sorry to disappoint. It really wouldn't be fitting, would it?
But if you're looking for some hot trash, I've got your covered! (Just kidding, there's some good ones in here too, some of which I own already)
and a couple extra previously free games that someone might want

Do you frequently make use of the "hide giveaways" button?
I am way behind you, just 15,940 hidden games.
0 hidden... don t judge please!
Loooong train deserve BIG BUMP
0? Instant blacklist!
Just kidding, my blacklist still remains 0.
Have a good one
0 BL Ok you have my BIG respect. That is not often to see here
Here take big virtual BEER
I will accept and enjoy the beer, with a spiced rum chaser. Cheers!
That's why I prefer whitelists... It helps to save your time in situations when noise prevails.
Thanks for the ride. I'm starting to use the hide function only now, but there's already some stuff that looks like its repeating forever, like those "trivia vault" games ;~;
I just add games I like to the wishlist and just focus on that list. :D
And rarely I just skim the other games list, but mostly to find new wishlist gems there.
Thank you for the train!
Apparently I've hidden a bit over 400 so far, I didn't even realize it was that many.
Anyway, thanks for the ride!
To be honest, I went on a hiding spree a few weeks ago but I don't do it as much now because there's always a new crop of games to skip. It's kind of annoying itself after a while.
I really don't understand the point of +1. Are those people treat steam like some sorta collection game?
Yes, I do
21,168 games hidden on SG and adding new ones daily.
I have no idea about Steam's ignore list though. Why are people using it?
To keep track of games they are not interested in, apparently. Y'know, to have a mental note that they saw it and wouldn't like it.
I've "only" hidden 4,563 games. I should probably hide a LOT more shovelware games, but for the most part, I just hide porn games.
I've gone the opposite way to achieving a similar goal: I only use the "wishlist" filter. That said, I have hidden some particularly garbage games when they show up as "developer" giveaways. Mostly stolen art hentai puzzles and Russian junk.
I wish we could turn off that pane entirely to be honest. I don't remember the last time I entered for a game on it.
Congrats on the accomplishment !!
I usually just use the hide feature for dlc that I already own and for games I own that would still let me enter.
2,032 before taking the train ride; now 2,033 :-)
6373.. mostly dlc and games I already own, but SG system shows me them.
18,293 I'm getting there.
Hentai tentacle milf puzzle??????? Where? I haven't seen any!
Sorry it has already been removed from Steam.
But good news! Hentai Tentacle Zombie Milf Football 2049: Limited Edition (Puzzle 3D) is coming out soon!
24,905 myself, loving the ESGT function to 'one-click hide'
I'm at 15,555 😅
figured it'd be a bit more with all the sexual puzzle games that I'm seeing lately
Only 502, I hide only porn games and games/DLCs I already own.
only 482, I only hide games/DLCs/bundles I already have
You probably already know this, but you can have it automatically hide games you already own (on the Steam account associated with SG, that is) via the settings.
Yes, but that does not include games that are not visible on steam API, and as far as I know, this "problem" applies to all DLCs
Yes, doesn't work if they're not in the Steam API-- and there are more and more of those games. As for DLC, turning on "Hide DLC if you're missing the base game" makes most DLC go away, at least for me.
23,583 hidden games. I spend more time hiding games on SG (and ignoring them on Steam) than anything else these days.
