Look on the game's page, a bit under where it has the game's title. If it says DRM: Steam there, then it provides Steam keys; otherwise, it's a DRM-free download

Most of the game pages should state the form of DRM, if any. Do a quick control+f for "Steam" when you're checking out a game. There have been instances where digital downloads haven't had their DRM listed, but from my experience it doesn't happen that often. Just pay attention to the description, check comments, etc.

depends on games, some games might uses other DRM in retail like GFWL, origin and ect.
On amazon store page, oh, here you need to go to digital download game section to find games you want to buy from amazon.
Then on game page, it should inform you what DRM it uses, for example steam. also, if there is nothing mentioning the DRM, and you are not sure if it is a
steam works title, you could ask some people on some forums or steam group to check the specific game.

Hi. Because of my current situation, the only way I can get games is through Amazon. Please don't ask about my current situation.
The problem is, I've heard stories all the time of people buying valuable games on Amazon, only to find that they don't come in Steam key form/Steam compatible form. I myself have no experience with Amazon.
So, I would really appreciate it if some people out there with former experience can guide me through what not to buy when I'm trying to get Steam games on Amazon.
Thanks,
-Michael
