So the guys over at EpicBundle (http://www.epicbundle.com/article/steam-bundle-for-free-the-4-game-bundle) are giving away 4 games if you register at PlayFire. And SG is filled with these games.

Are the admins going to do anything about this?

I was told those giveaways give no contributor value.
Here's the way I see it:
Someone gets a game.
Everyone gets points.
Nobody gets hurt.
Win-win!

I see a certain intent in doing these giveaways and it surely isn't charitable because they could just as well point out the already free giveaway and give epicbundle & playfire the traffic/exposure etc this event is about.

While the intent certainly isn't for charity but rather for raising contributor value, it just helps to see things in a different way. It can be expected that something will be done about it... so I'm just enjoying the scenery until that happens.

As far as I know you need a new playfire account to get them. I already have one, so i can not get them for free. Throw all those free games at me i do not mind :). As Tumalu said "nobody gets hurt"

Then make a new playfire account and new steam account. Link them. Get the codes on your playfire account. Activate them on your real steam account. Forget all about your fake accounts.

Until you need them again for some other "new accounts" :D

It takes less than 2 minutes to setup the new accounts and get the free keys.

Not only is it against SG rules to give away free games, it's also against Playfire rules to have multiple accounts.

That GMG freebies are not banned is perplexing.

Am I the only one that gets kind of annoyed by the 'new account' requirement? They're really just making their members create multiple accounts with this...

I am annoyed. We are punished for our loyalty. (I am still missing those games.) :)

I do have all of them - but I am still annoyed.
The way it is right now - GMG and Playfire basically rewarding frauds. I'm not questioning that there are some people who legitimately register there for the first time ever, but even then I would think they should make some better way to reward new (potential!) customers - maybe after the first purchase, or after first $5 or $10 spent... But they just give away free games to "new accounts" most of which will never be used again.
And on the other hand - I've spent more than $100 over the year on GMG - and have I got any reward for being loyal? I think the answer is obvious.

I never had the chance to see SpaceCat on SGv2 :(

When I won a giveaway he wasn't there to greet me.

But there is one more problem - and it's about GMG being a d*ck.
Those 4 free games at first were given to those people, who had pre-ordered one more game.
So it turns out, that some folks paid money to get 1+4 games - and then GMG makes these 4 games available to everyone.
That's low.

This is my issue with it. Why post a blog about paying for the free games just a few days ago, when they are most certainly free to whoever wants them.. :|

You would think one of their 42 moderators would speak up and tell them that this is a stupid fucking idea.

The games may be free, but if you already have a Playfire account that's connected to Steam, you can't get them, so I was VERY grateful to see the many GA's, myself!

That is one way to look at it. One of being grateful for the opportunity to win.

I saw some giveaways being deleted in the beginning but then it just stopped and I for some reason am unable to report free game giveaways since the ticket just says "no game found"

I'm not pointing to Bobo and other mods how to do their job, but... I would just drop my 2 cents:
Rooms clearly has to be added to bundled list - retroactively. As for taking all 4 games off the list completely... Well, not everybody able or bother to create a new account, and that (d$ckish imho) requirement makes it not completely "free", but games prices are low enough that 15% in CV wouldn't make much of a difference - but that will somewhat discourage those smartas#es who make several new GMG accounts and rapidly rise to lvl 4-5 on SG on Rooms alone.
Mind it - I don't care much how you got your level on SG - on 2 or 3 AAA giveaways or on tons of bundles. After all, I'm not a saint here either. But imho situation with that particular clusterf*ck is just not fair to those users who either grind their "way up" - or spend big money giving to community in the process.
Since I have all 4 games in question - I can't see and report GAs (though much good would it do - 2 re-gifting reports from me pending already for over a week...). I'm just enjoying influx of points here. But aside from free points - situation looks bad imho.
Again - that's just my POV.

I have about 10 reports pending for some time now. I guess nobody looks at them, or well, for the benefit of the doubt, they didn't have time to look at them. I don't mind the fact that people get tons of free chances to get these 4 games, I'm not interested in them, but I do mind the fact that people who post these giveaways benefit from CV levels.

And when I see free games being offered on SG in packs of 3-5 or even more, I really get upset. When someone offers 5-10 free games on SG from that bundle, and reports don't have an impact, it's just demoralizing. I spent money on the bundles that I gave away for CV levels. How is that fair?
