I think Dishonored was 30 quite some time already. I think SR3 had a price drop.

Wow, that is a big drop. I'd be curious to see what impact this has on people giving away the more expensive games, since this inevitably means that giving away expensive games is going to falsely inflate your CV for a time. Either it spurs people on to give more, thus refreshing their CV, or it deters them from doing it again.

It's actually motivating me to reach previous level, before drop :)

I've always claimed the latter. If you're one that cares about CV (and let's face it, most do), then giving away AAA titles is actually riskier than giving away indies. Indie games rarely drop in price, so your CV doesn't get reduced over time. If an indie game gets put in a bundle at a later date, you're okay because SG tracks the date and any giveaway beforehand is "safe" from the bundle rule.

On the other hand, since CV is determined by the CURRENT value of your giveaway games instead of the value at the time they were given, when price drops occur, you LOSE. Anyone who gave Defiance six months ago was hugely generous, but now they're punished for it - now it's no different to giving away, say Terraria (a perpetual $10 game, but one that can be had for less than $2 on sales).

In the interest of full disclosure, I was NOT affected with the recent price drops, but I did get affected several months ago with Tomb Raider game price drops.

It's only a "punishment" if you're giving for CV, and anyone who buys brand new games at full price to give away is not primarily giving for CV anyway.

Games without subscription won't go F2P, what would be the logic behind that?

Ask TF2.

That's not really an MMO though. It was also mostly just a prototype for Valve, how to iron out the last cents of every player from them in all their games.

But it shows you can go F2P even when you were buy-to-play.

If you have in-game market you can go F2P in any moment - out of that horde of new players there will be some who will want to buy those things.

I don't use a website. I don't really go looking for price changes. I hear about them from friends most of the time.

So I'm above 20% of bundle, if I lost in their price? Or I'm wrong? Wish all we can have 2 different counters of CV, B and non-B :)

Also if you gave the game away BEFORE the bundle you keep full value for it.

Personally if you gift it before either a bundle happens or price drop I don't think you should lose CV. But maybe that's just me.

yes, before bundle it stays, but it drops if steam value drops, cause all is valued at this moment, not when you gave game away
