The classic Metroid titles are fairly cheap on the eShop if you own a Wii U or 3DS (Unsure if the Wii's eShop still works...)
However, if it must be PC, and you think you'd have fun with a Metroid-esque game, I'd definitely recommend grabbing this :) (Personally, I'm waiting on Valve to fix the sale price.)

Same! This is the first time the game has been discounted though. Fantastic indie games less than a year old usually never hit above a 40% reduction. :(
